Concerned about a potential employee's ability to perform
the physical requirements of a job? In the State of Arizona,
once an employee is hired the employer is responsible for
any exacerbation of pre-existing injuries/illnesses. Our
post-offer screen is a functional test to determine an
individual's physical ability to perform the physical
requirements of a specific job before starting
employment. The screening process insures a match between
the worker and the work in a non-discriminatory manner. It
involves job specific tests such as lifting,
pushing/pulling, or repetitive upper extremity tasks. These
tasks are determined after an on-site analysis of the
facility. Our Therapists work directly with the employer to
develop the most accurate testing parameters. This is a
legal way to deny employment (or withdraw employment offers)
to someone unable to perform the desired job without
reasonable accommodations. |
